New Year Opportunities

Hello Docents,

 

I hope you are having a wonderful week. I know that everyone’s schedules are getting full because of the holidays and I am excited to say that all of our shifts are covered for the rest of the month. Thank you all for making Tacoma Art Museum part of your busy schedules. I know I say this a lot, but it is true! We could not do what we do without you! I hope you all have wonderful Holiday and happy New Year!

 

If anyone is thinking this far in advance, I have the following shifts available in the New Year:

 

Saturday, January 15^th, from 11 am to 3 pm

Saturday, January 29^th, from 11 am to 3 pm

Sunday, January 30^th, from 12 pm to 4 pm

Saturday, February 5^th, from 11 am to 3 pm

Saturday, February 19^th, from 11 am to 3 pm

TAM Docents: Something new to do in the gallery...

Hello Docents-

I want to invite you first to this special opportunity made possible because of our very own Margaret Upshaw!

On Tuesday, January 18 at 10 am, we are going to offer a free yoga class to a limited number of participants. Before I offer this up to all volunteers, I wanted you to have first dibs as you spend your time in the galleries in a very different way, not always relaxing. You wouldn’t need to bring anything  but yourselves in comfortable clothing for stretching in. If you want to be one of the exclusive few to do yoga in Mighty Tacoma, please RSVP before January 3^rd, when it will go out to all volunteers (presuming any spaces are left!).
