TAM Docents: It Gets Better Talking Points

Hello again-

Attached are some talking points you may find useful for the It Gets Better Campaign too.

As per usual, I will get copies of everything up in the binder as soon as I can.

Thanks for all that you do for Tacoma Art Museum!

TAM Docents: Exhibition opening in Geroge and Mary Davis Gallery

Hello Docents-

We have a new exhibition opening in the George and Mary Davis Gallery, where the jewelry cases are located on the 2nd floor.

I have included a couple of links to give you some background on David Wojnarowicz below. There is some definite controversy to expect here. I would like you to let me know if you need anything else to feel prepared for this exhibition. I think it is a great opportunity for us but likely to be a bit exciting at times depending on audience reaction. As questions or concerns come up, let me know and I will do my best to find solutions and answers.

TAM Docents: Specialized Rockwell Tour Topics

Hello Docents-

I wanted to check in with all of you regarding the specialized Norman Rockwell tours. Below is what I have so far (or think I do, anyway). If I have managed to mix something up, please correct me (and I apologize for being a dingbat). If you are not on the list (Barbara Beaver, Cathy Wiggins, Elizabeth Walsh, Liliana Franz, Randy Hyde, Sanjeev Narang, Katrina Frank, Sue Stibbe and Terry Dew) please give me a heads up on one topic you would like to tackle.
