Dear Docents,
From now on, you can look forward to receiving emails and phone calls from Grace Toledo about private group tours!
In September, Grace took over the job of booking private group tours (that was previously part of Kathy Cabusao's job). I think it makes sense for her to include communicating with the docents as part of her job – this will allow her schedule tours more easily and efficiently, and she already knows all of you from working in Visitor Services.
The process will remain much the same:
Ÿ Grace will be attempting to schedule group tours during your regular docent shifts, as always.
Ÿ She will call or email you to confirm that you are available.
Ÿ She will also be sending out emails to all docents for group tours that are outside of a regular docent shift or require more than one docent.
If you are unable to come in to lead a tour with less than two weeks' notice, please contact Grace.

Please make sure that your email will accept messages from her.
If you know in advance that you will be unable to docent for a period of time (such as a vacation), please contact me, Heide.
