TAM Docents: Fun stuff for study

Hello Docents-

Gwen from the History Museum was so kind as to drop off some materials you may find of interest. We now have a video about the photographers Edward and Asahel Curtis. It’s only 30 minutes long so you can even watch it in the ARC during one of your shifts. In addition to that, she also brought a stack of materials about Chihuly’s Pendleton blanket collection that might be some good background material for the inspiration of his glass art. I will have all of those materials up at the Docent Desk by tomorrow.

As long as I have you on the computer…I do have some shifts that need filled. If you can take on any of the shifts below, please let me know.

Saturday, May 15            11 am – 3 pm

Saturday, May 22            11 am – 3 pm

Thursday, June 3           11 am – 3 pm

Saturday, June 5            11 am – 3 pm

Thursday, June 17          10 am – 1 pm

Saturday, June 19          11 am – 3 pm

Wednesday, June 30       11 am – 3 pm

Thank you for all that you do for Tacoma Art Museum!
