TAM Docents: Nov. 3 TAM visit to WSHM & other news
Hello Docents-
I wanted to direct your attention t the change in meeting spots indicated below for the History Museum training on November 3rd.
Also, I wanted to make a correction on today’s talk…the 5 languages represented on the title wall (and that will be represented in multilingual labels) are Cambodian, Russian, Vietnamese, Spanish, and Korean. The text panel on the wall states this.
Thank you for all that you do for Tacoma Art Museum!! Get many pictures taken of yourselves in Mighty Tacoma – the lighting is good!

TAM Docents History lab
November 3, 2010
10:30-12:30
We are looking forward to having our docents participate in the joys of museum edutainment learning in our History Lab Learning Center on November 3, 2010.
We'll meet you in the Grand Lobby at the History Museum no later than 10:30 a.m. I'll bring you to our education department to have an opportunity to shed coats, drop off lunches, meet volunteers, and have a cup a Joe. We'll then head up to the 5th floor History Lab where we'll spend ~ 1 1/2 hours in the Lab. For anyone who's interested, we'll enjoy a bag lunch in our boardroom following the Lab experience. We’ll provide refreshments.
Bring your lunch, energy, and inner child. Our History Lab is an exciting place to play and learn - for all ages! We look forward to your visit. Please let me know approximately how many docents you will bring. We can accommodate up to 35 comfortably.
Best,
Magda
