Docent Evening Tours

Hello TAM Docents,

 

We need two docents for an evening event on 12/4/14. This is the Franciscan Holiday event and we are anticipating 400 people. Docents will be touring the Haub Wing and the Northwest in the West Gallery. There will be two opportunities for docent led tours, one is at 7:30 and the other is at 8:15 PM. The docents will both start at the same time (in separate wings) and will go for about 30 minutes, leaving 15 minutes in between to switch galleries. You can sign up for this shift on the Volgistics calendar. Please let me know if you have any questions!

Docent Training tomorrow

Hello TAM Docents,

 

This is a reminder that there is docent training tomorrow at 10:30 am. We will begin in the Gates Library to review the agenda and then move to the Murray Event Space for Mary Lucier’s lecture. This training is only available to TAM Volunteers and will not be made available to the public, so this would be a wonderful time to ask Mary tons of questions.

 

Her public lecture is this Saturday, November 22 at 2 pm in the Murray Event Space. Remember that if you attend this lecture you should purchase the student ticket. You can purchase tickets online or by phone with a Visitor Services Representative. Last but not least, Rock will be giving a lecture over The Plains of Sweet Regret on Wednesday, December 3. This will be a Lunch & Learn program, so it will be open to all museum visitors.
