Thursday, December 3, 6:45pm and at 7:30pm tours

Hello Docents,

We have received a request for a docent to lead tours during a holiday party private event that is being held here at the museum on Thursday, December 3 from 6-9 pm.  They have requested tours be available at 6:45pm and at 7:30pm.  Please let me know if you would be available to lead these two gallery tours on this evening.

Thank you!

Allison

TAM Docents: Margarets WPA talk in Spokane

Hello Docents-

For those who expressed interest in the WPA lecture opportunity at the MAC in Spokane http://www.northwestmuseum.org/ , Margaret has replied below. It looks like the 18th and 19th of November are the targeted dates though she doesn’t yet have specifics and I didn’t have luck ferreting out anything from their website today. Maybe there will be more detail as the dates draw closer.

Thanks for your participation in today’s training, for those able to attend.

Best regards,

-Jana

They've got me doing a gallery talk at the museum on November 18 and public lectures on the evening of Nov. 18 and midday on the 19th. I don’t' have the exact itinerary yet. I'm focusing on the WPA projects in the Northwest and particularly on the Art Centers.

Hello Margaret-

Thanks again for a great lecture and docent training! I was asked after the gallery tour to find out when you are speaking about the WPA in Spokane so that I can pass that along to the docents. May I get a date from you? I couldn’t find it on the website.

Thank you,

-Jana

TAM Docents: November tours

Hello Docents,

Hope you are all enjoying the lovely colors of changing leaves outside.  I can’t believe the days are getting so short and cold already.

I have several tours needing docents coming up.

I will need 2 docents to lead general museum tours for a large group, likely about 75 people, split into two smaller groups on Friday, November 6, the first group will be at 12:30, the second at 1:30 pm.

I will also need a docent to lead a Chihuly walking tour for 7 people on Friday, November 6 at 1 pm.

I will need a docent to lead a museum overview tour on November 14 at 1 pm for approx. 15 people.

I will also need 2 docents to lead tours of the Feddersen exhibition on Thursday, November 19 at 1 pm for approx. 40 people, 20 people in each group.

If you are available for any of the above shifts, please let me know.

Thank you!

Allison
