Upcoming docent lecture and other fun information

Hello Docents!

I’m just popping in to remind you of Wednesday’s docent training/lecture with Rock Hushka regarding the Pruzan Collection. We’ve opened up the lecture to the public, so we may have a larger crowd than anticipated. The lecture will be taking place at 10:30A in the event space. I hope to see you there!

Additionally, I would love to get a head count of docents who are planning on going to the White River Valley Museum on June 25th at 12P. If you are available and interested, please email me back so we can start pinning down details—carpool, meeting times, etc. I look forward to hearing from you!

For my own knowledge, has everyone received a NW Catalogue? If you have yet to receive your catalogue, please stop by my desk the next time you are in the museum. We have 4 remaining and while I was hoping to keep a list of those of you who have received a book, I was handing them out at such random times and locations it slipped my mind!

Finally, I’ve looked into Pilchuck’s upcoming open house for those of you who were interested! Apparently it will be open on July 14th from 12P – 5P. Admission is $20 per person, $10 for children 6 – 12 and reservations are required. If you’re interested in admission + an Off the Beaten Path Tour [a moderate hike], admission is increased to $35. If you’d like more information or to reserve tickets, you can click on this link: http://www.pilchuck.com/events/open_house.aspx.

Enjoy your weekend in the sun!
