TAM Docents: Gallery update and more

Hello Docents-

First off, a reminder about the Seubert change out that happened this week:

Old to New in The 9th Northwest Biennial

Susan Seubert’s ambrotype photographs of bird nests will be replaced by Lambda prints on April 6. Visit before then and enjoy Seubert’s exquisite ambrotypes, a photographic process that dates from the 1850s. Visit after April 6 and see how she translates these ambrotypes into Lambda prints, a contemporary digital process. This transition highlights Seubert’s technical and aesthetic mastery of photography.

Secondly, I still need a docent to do an introduction for the Biennial on April 18 during the Sinfonietta’s intermission. I will be out of town that day and unavailable to do it myself so please lend a hand that evening if you can. It will be a jazz ensemble performance and should be a lot of fun. In fact, one of the performers, Todd Larsen, is an ARC volunteer.

Thank you,

-Jana
