TAM Docents:Mexican Folk Art Opportunities
Thomas has been so gracious as to invite all docents to the member opening for Folk Treasures of Mexico: The Nelson A. Rockefeller Collection from the San Antonio Museum of Art on Saturday, October 29. You can also see a fellow docent give a tour of the exhibition (Sue Stibbe is very knowledgeable about Mexican folk art, being a collector herself, so consider coming to hear one of her tours at 1 pm or 2 pm). I have a breakdown of the day’s events below.
The only event I haven’t mentioned today in conjunction with this exhibition is the required training on Friday, October 28 at 10:30 am in the Murray Family Event Space.
