TAM: Mary Randlett readings

Attached is an essay by Denise Levertov about Mary Randlett and her landscape photography.

Denise Levertov is a poet who has written some poems to accompany Mary Randlett's photographs, and some of her poems will be displayed on the gallery walls at Tacoma Art Museum.

This essay will be in the new book about Mary Randlett that will not be available until October. The attached PDF document is 24 pages – but only 5 pages are the actual essay; the rest is photographs by Mary Randlett accompanied by poems.

                     

Attached is also a biography (5 pages) of Mary Randlett from www.historylink.org, which is an excellent and local website.

All of these resources will also be available in a binder at the docent desk.

 

Veiled Northwest: Photographs by Mary Randlett will be opening on September 1, 2007. Please make sure that you have read all of these articles before the first docent training on September 4 and 5.
