Using Computers at TAM

I just wanted to clear up some questions about using computers at Tacoma Art Museum.

Docents, and other volunteers, are not able to logon to computers on the Admin Level of the museum. If you want to use a computer, please use the ones in the Art Resource Center – they have full internet access and many other commonly used programs (such as Word). I know that in the past, a staff member may have logged on to a computer in order to let volunteers use it, but this is a very unsafe practice for us at the museum.

 

If you have a real need to use the computers at the Docent Desk on the Admin Level, please let me know and we will try to work something out.
