Update: Untitled by Fischli & Weiss

This is an explanation of and some comments on Untitled by Peter Fischli and David Weiss, as given by Rock.

The projection is two slides projected onto the same space. The tricky bit is that the two slides change simultaneously but one fades into the second. Also, each single slide is actually two images superimposed into one. So, for each pair of slides, there are a few moments when there are four different flower images layered on top of one another!

Also, there is less of a sense of seasonal change than [Rock] expected. There is certainly a rhythm but it is less pronounced. It is easy to see as the flowers change in color from whites through pastels to vivid yellows and oranges and reds. There is also a noticeable progression in flower size.

Let me know if you have any questions.
