Eric Carle school tours - a message from the Educator
Hello Docents,
I know that Megan sent out the e-mail below about the additional support needed for the Eric Carle school tours and I wanted to follow-up with a note as well. It isn’t much of a surprise that there are currently over 3,000 students scheduled to participate in a school tour from April – June, with the majority coming to see Beyond Books: The Independent Art of Eric Carle.
I’m thankful to be working with a wonderful pool of educator volunteers, who are committed and passionate about supporting the school tour program. With that said, there is still the reality of the volume of school tours and the availability everyone has to give. I ask that you please consider helping the school tour program during this busy time and any help is appreciated. I’m happy to answer any questions, thoughts, or concerns. Please feel free to e-mail me or visit me at visit me in person (I sit next to Megan). Thank you for taking the time to read my note.
Best,
Ryan

Subject: Eric Carle - Additional help needed with guided tours
Hello Docents,
As you know the Eric Carle exhibition is right around the corner and it is very popular tour option for our school tour program. I am writing the group to see if any of you would be interested in helping out Ryan Branchini, Museum Educator during this busy time or would like to learn more about our school tour program. Ryan is looking for help with observation based guided tours for Eric Carle and our other school tour options. Please contact Ryan at RBranchini@tacomaartmuseum.org if you are interested in helping our or finding out more about our school tour program and what leading a guided tour would entail.
I hope you all are having a wonderful week and got a chance to enjoy the sunshine we had over the weekend! Thank you for all that you do for Tacoma Art Museum.
Best,
Megan
