TAM Docents: 90-Minute Tours

Hello Docents-

Our group tours team came up with a double tour option to offer the public (I wasn’t really in on this so sorry for the late notice). The “double tour” is a 90-minute tour that would include a Chihuly Walking tour (1 hour) and a Dale Chihuly’s Northwest tour (30 minutes). I know that is a lot to squeeze in and a long time to tour. If you know that you positively cannot do this, please let me know so that I can alert Megan Ristine when she is looking for docent coverage that is already scheduled.

Also, When doing the Chihuly Walking tours, ideally, we will not tour Dale Chihuly’s Northwest and treat it as it’s own specialty tour unless it is part of a 90-minute package.

If you have any questions or concerns about this arrangement, please let me know.

One reminder too: I created signage for all of those Chihuly tours I scheduled for the website and that signage is at the front desk. You can ask VS to put that up to attract walk up clientele for those tours. You can also check in with VS to see if a public tour is scheduled during your shift if you don’t remember or if you want to see if anyone has signed up on the website.

Thank you,

-Jana
