Lichtenstein "Amerind Landscape" Rug info

In the Lichtenstein exhibition, the rug titled “Amerind Landscape” was woven in India. It was a project supervised by a friend of Lichtenstein, who owned a an import/export business. He had contacts in India who wove each of the rugs in the edition.

And the rug was produced in an edition of 20.

Subject: Rug question

I have been asked who did the weaving on the Lichtenstein rug. Have you been able to find out who made it?

Cass
