A few things...

Hi Docents,

In preparation for the opening of, Carving a Legacy, Innovation in Coast Salish Art , the walkthroughs will be June 15 from 6-8pm, or June 20th from 10:30am-12:30pm.   As we have said before, this exhibition is going to be very different from the shows you have toured in the past, and it’s really important to make it to one of the walkthroughs with Rock.   If for any reason you can’t make it, please contact Carri or myself to talk about what we covered.  Thank you all for your patience and flexibility as we solidify this show.  In the next few days as things get worked out, I promise to keep you informed as soon as I am informed.

This is also a reminder that this Saturday will be the symposium for the Zero Karat exhibition called The Language of Jewelry.  From 11am-12pm Donna Schneier will be talking.  There will be a break for lunch from 12-1:30pm.  At the beginning of the break, Donna will be signing Zero Karat catalogues.  From 1:30-2:30 there will be an artist panel discussion. For those of you who need to make up contact hours for your UWT certificate, this would be a great opportunity for you to do that (make sure you sign in at the security entrance).

Thank you,
