Subject: Resources for Carving a Legacy

We’ve mounted a display for Carving a Legacy in the ARC.  Many

of our Native American art titles are broad in scope, but we have

some NW Coastal titles, including:

Native Visions:  Evolution of NW Coast Art from the 18th

Through the 20th Century (UWa & SAM)

Box of Daylight: NW Coast Indian Art

AND a few Coast Salish titles:

Susan Point: Coast Salish Artist.

Contemporary Coast Salish Art (due for publication by UWa

in May) is not out yet, but we’ll have it on display as soon

as it is available.

We expect to soon be putting out information about individual artists &

have our ARC “Exhibition Resources” web page updated with “Carving” info.
