Special Docent Opportunity
Hello Docents,
Thomas is looking for a docent that would like to give spot light tours and engage guests in the Best of the NW: Paintings from the Collection exhibition, during the Building Excitement event on Tuesday, June 26, from 5:00 to 7:30 pm.

End-of-season celebration for docents & school tour volunteers
Tuesday, June 19, 4-6 pm
Join the education department and your fellow docents and educators to celebrate this exciting year of tours and all your hard work. We’ll gather in the Classroom, and out on the Balcony as well weather permitting. Tasty hors d'oeuvres, dessert bites, wine, coffee & tea provided courtesy of TAM. (Let us know ASAP if you have any special food requests and we will try our best to accommodate them.)
Optional docent training: field trip and tour at SAM
Wednesday, August 1, 2 pm
Let’s travel together to Seattle and tour American Art in the 1930s and 1940s with a SAM docent. Join us for lunch beforehand at SAM’s Taste café (menu) around 12:30 pm. Once we know how many of us are attending we can figure out carpools and other logistics. There is the potential to make a very full afternoon of it and visit the newly reopened Frye after our SAM tour—please let us know if this sounds appealing. Tour & museum admission free; no-host lunch.
