TAM Docents: ARC printer...

Hello Docents-

We have had an interesting development that I am afraid is going to cause you a bit more work. In approximately the past 6 weeks, the ARC has gone through 2 printer toner cartridges at about $60 each. This is because a lot of printing is being done on that printer/copier and I am suspecting it is because of the vast amounts of material that is likely getting copied by docents. I am asking that, from now on, please take larger print jobs (more than, say, 5 pages) down to the Admin level and use one of the heavy duty printers there. This will save the museum a significant amount of money and allow the ARC to still have a printer they can use to help visitors.

I appreciate your help in this matter.

Thank you,

-Jana

Hi Jana –

I would like to request that that docents perform larger sized copy jobs downstairs on the Xerox equipment rather than on the copy machine/printer in the ARC whenever possible. We have seen a huge increase in the amount of supplies being used up there in the last month, suggesting that some large copy jobs are taking place and it is significantly cheaper to run bulk jobs through the machines down on admin.

Thanks for your help!

-Matt
