P.S. I really appreciate how much you have all jumped to take on the plethora of tours that have descended upon us. It is a great help and a boon to the museum!

Jana,

I watched the window washer video and remembered that he'd talked about that painting being a part of a Smithsonian exhibit of the Rockwells in the collections of George Lucas and Stephen Spielberg (sp). Anyway I just spent a fascinating half an hour or so watching a podcast from the exhibit with Lucas and Spielberg talking about their paintings and how Rockwell influenced them as filmakers and why they collect the paintings they do, etc. It was just wonderful. It finished up January 2, 2011. So I thought I'd pass the link on. You should just be able to click on it and go straight to the smithsonian site.
