Artists’ Talk with Joey Kirkpatrick and Flora Mace

Joey Kirkpatrick and Flora Mace have worked collaboratively for more than twenty-five years after meeting at the Pilchuck Glass School in 1979. They partnered with Chihuly on the Soft Cylinder series in the early 1980s and again on the Jerusalem Cylinder series in 1999. Together, Kirkpatrick and Mace have created a diverse body of work that includes both blown-glass vessels and sculpture fabricated with wood, glass, and other media.
