3 Docents Needed: Back to School Night on October 11, 2005 from 5-8 pm

Can anyone do a docent shift (or trade a shift) on October 11, 2005 from 5-8 pm? We need 3 docents. This is Back to School Night (an event for teachers) at TAM and other museums – see below for more info.

Back to School Night is an exciting opportunity for area educators to learn more about the educational programs and resources offered by prominent organizations in Pierce County. Enjoy hors d’oevres and beverages at Tacoma Art Museum as you learn more about what is available for you and your students this school year! Enjoy workshops, performances, and hands-on activities at the Washington State History Museum and Museum of Glass.

 

You’ll also have the opportunity to win fabulous FREE prizes, including class trips and classroom educational resources!

 

Volunteer Needs

4:30-8 pm ARC-filled by Jo Ann B.

4:30 -8 PM OAS-

4:30 -8 PM Three registration volunteers-

6:30-7:30 PM 2 Volunteers to announce drawing and hand out prizes

4:45-7:45 One docent per gallery to answer questions

Education staff- help direct traffic, answer questions, encourage teachers to fill out their information card, and help clean up
