TAM training update: Denzil Hurley on May 12

Dear Docents,

 

For the Monday, May 12 training, an introduction to the 2008 Neddy, Denzil Hurley will talk about his own artwork. Denzil Hurley was in the 2007 Northwest Biennial last year, and is one of this year’s Neddy nominees. He is a professor of painting at the University of Washington School of Art.

We will only be able to offer this training once, on Monday, May 12 from 10:30-12:30. There will be no evening training on Wednesday, May 14 as a result.

 

Denzil’s artwork seemed to be somewhat problematic for many of you during the Biennial, and hopefully hearing him talk about his own art will be helpful.

 

I hope that all of you can make this special training, but please let me know if you cannot attend.
