TAM: Telling Stories binder info

The Telling Stories binder is at the docent desk/bookshelf and contains written info for many of the Telling Stories artworks. This info has been compiled from the Telling Stories docent presentations, and also from previous docent presentations for other exhibitions (mainly Building Traditions).

 

Some of the lengthier written information is:

• Ellen Shigeno’s presentation on Japanese woodblock prints. Copies of her 8-page written info are at the docent bookshelf, beside the binders.
• Several papers on Mark Tobey.
• Ellen Shigeno’s 2003 docent report on Roger Shimomura.
• Several files on Jacob Lawrence – some of this is general info on the artist, and was compiled for the Sense of Place exhibition.
• Kris O’Leary’s docent report on the photographer Imogen Cunningham. As well as her biography from www.historylink.org.
