A goodbye party for Carri Campbell

Carri Campbell will be leaving the museum effective September 1^st.  Carri has accepted the position of Program Manager for ArtsEd Washington located in Seattle. While this is a wonderful move for Carri – both for her career and her gas tank – it is a big loss for the museum.  Carri started at the museum on a part-time, hourly basis as a school tour coordinator in 2002. Her talents as an educator were soon obvious, and she too became an invaluable full-time museum staff member. While on staff fulltime, Carri earned her Masters in Education degree at UWT, and her innovative Youth Connect High School Internship program won awards both for the museum and earned her the title of 2003 Washington State Art Association’s Museum Educator of the Year.  

We will honor Carri on Thursday, August 31 at 3pm in the classroom and you are invited to attend. This is a chance for us to send her off with our best wishes.
