Shunyo Kawarabayashi and Suieren Nishimoto, visiting artists from Japan, demonstrate brush calligraphy and lead discussion of the pictographic symbols and linguistic meaning of this classic Japanese art form. Drop in and try your own hand at the technique. Cost: free with museum admission.
