new Gallery Guide for self-guided groups

Hi All,

I wanted to tell those of you who haven’t already seen it that we have a new Gallery Guide available for self-guided groups. This can be used by any visitor but was primarily designed to help provide a focus for groups of young visitors who come to the museum on a drop-in basis rather than for a school tour. The guide can be picked up at the front desk and will eventually be able to be downloaded from the website. It is not exhibition-specific but rather directs visitors to look at broader themes, like how artists reflect the Northwest. There is also a discussion of Chihuly’s work.

 

Please familiarize yourself with this guide by picking one up at the front desk if you haven’t seen it yet. You might get questions from visitors using it, or you might want to recommend it to visitors if they haven’t picked one up from Visitor Services.
